Kim Westbrook, MD Physician / Founder
Dr. Westbrook is from Laramie and returned to her hometown in 2014 to work as an OB/GYN physician. Helping patients improve their overall health and wellness has always been her deepest passion. Dr. Westbrook opened Ascent Med to begin providing a comprehensive, holistic approach to longevity and aging with grace and self-confidence for everyone. Her husband, Shay, is her greatest advocate. They have 3 extremely active children and a golden doodle to keep them busy outside of work. The Westbrooks love everything active and outdoors!
Megan Cartwright RN
Megan was born and raised in Cheyenne, but has called Laramie home since 2010. While her first degree was business marketing, she decided to go back to school where she found her true calling in nursing. After graduating from UW's Brand Program in 2020, she began working as a pre and postoperative nurse at Premier Bone and Joint Centers. Her primary passion is helping others feel their best, inside and out; and hopes to provide a lasting connection to all of her patients through genuine care and a few laughs. Outside of work, Megan has two amazing children that keep her on her toes and a husband that keeps her young. She loves baking sweet treats, traveling the globe, and getting lost in some fresh mountain air.
Sarah Reece Aesthetician / CNA
Sarah is a Wyoming native. She was born and raised in Jackson, WY – but has called Laramie home since 2005. She has worked as a certified nursing assistant for 9 years in women’s healthcare. Through that experience, she developed a deep passion for providing care and assisting patients through their individual journeys. She is excited to use her new aesthetician expertise to help those on their aesthetic and wellness journey. She has an amazingly supportive husband and is now a mom of 2 beautiful children.
Kaitlin MatthewFront Desk Administrator
Kaitlin is from Santa Barbara, California. Although she moved to Laramie in 2021, she now calls Wyoming home! Her background is in customer service, and she thrives on helping clients in any way possible. She has always had an interest in the medical field, and Ascent Med offers her the opportunity to combine her passion for customer service with medicine. Outside of work she enjoys various hobbies that challenge her, such as her small photography business.
Sydney Saia Board Certified Cosmetologist
Sydney is originally from Colorado. She recently made Laramie her new home. With a passion for skin, beauty, and wellness from a young age, she pursued an education and career in aesthetics. Her personal experience with cystic acne inspired her to want to help others feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. As she begins her journey in the aesthetics industry, Sydney is committed to providing exceptional services and ongoing education for both clients and herself. When she's not at the spa, you can find her enjoying time with her horses or getting to know the Laramie community with her boyfriend, Garrett!
